Monday Artday - Tropical Jungle

The topic this week for Monday Artday is Tropical Jungle. This is my entry titled 'Taking Flight".
I based this painting on a little drawing I did about a year ago when I first started trying my hand at some art. I wanted to get the carefree and fun sense of completely letting yourself go and feel free in the moment. It is also really exciting to remind myself how far I have come wtih my art and what a wonderful journey it has been.

i like the off-balance of this. as far going back and mining our own personal quarries, i do the same when i want to & can go somewhere else with it, like you did here. totes Robert Frost's road.

Bee, this is so much fun! I may have to link you again since it totally captures how I felt getting away this weekend. Especially when we were shopping at Anthropologie! Yikes!!! Tarzan might not be happy with Jane right now, but it is her vine and she owns it!
